Financial Crime Officer
Job Description
We’re recruiting for a Financial Crime Officer to join a well-established financial services group on the Isle of Man. This is a great opportunity for someone with a compliance or financial crime background who wants to build a specialist career in financial crime prevention and investigation.
You’ll support the Financial Crime Team in delivering a proactive, risk-based approach to preventing financial crime across the business. Day-to-day, that means reviewing client screening results, investigating suspicious activity, and getting involved in complex, high-profile cases — including responding to requests from regulators, tax authorities, and the courts.
You’ll work closely with the MLRO and Financial Crime Officer, providing second-line guidance and support to the wider business, and contributing to management information and reporting for the group.
This role suits someone with strong analytical skills, good attention to detail, and the ability to work calmly under pressure and to tight deadlines. Prior hands-on financial crime experience is a plus but not essential — a solid compliance or financial services background with the right aptitude will be seriously considered.
