MLRO & Financial Crime Compliance Manager
Job Description
We’re recruiting for a growing Isle of Man trust and corporate services business looking to appoint an MLRO & Financial Crime Compliance Manager. This is a hands-on, senior compliance role reporting into the Head of Compliance, with direct Board exposure and real influence over how the compliance function evolves.
You’ll act as designated MLRO, taking ownership of SAR investigations, liaison with the FIU, and reporting to the IOMFSA. You’ll manage high-risk AML/CFT matters, sit on the Client Acceptance Committee, oversee the DMLRO, and lead AML/CFT training across the business. It’s a role that combines regulatory rigour with genuine input into shaping the compliance framework as the team grows.
This suits someone with previous MLRO or DMLRO experience — ideally from the trust and company sector, though strong candidates with senior AML/financial crime backgrounds from banking or other regulated financial services will also be considered. You’ll need to be a confident, discreet operator who can work independently, influence at Board level, and bring order and pace to a busy regulatory function.
In return, you’ll get a competitive salary, performance-driven bonus, a flexible benefits package, and genuine career development within a rapidly growing group.
