Project Manager
Job Description
This is a solid opportunity for an experienced Project Manager to join a well-established Group Change function on the Isle of Man and take ownership of meaningful, high-impact projects across a broad portfolio.
You’ll be leading cross-functional projects end-to-end — from initiation through to implementation — spanning digital and technology change, regulatory programmes, operational improvements, and new product initiatives. The role sits within a structured Group Change Department, so you’ll be working across multiple business areas and with third-party partners, not just one team.
Day-to-day, you’ll be applying both strong project governance and Agile delivery disciplines — running sprint oversight, managing risks and issues, controlling budgets, and keeping stakeholders aligned and informed. This isn’t a role where you’ll be handed a playbook and told to follow it. You’ll need to shape requirements with stakeholders, manage scope, coordinate testing and release readiness, and help business areas actually adopt the changes you’re delivering.
The team values autonomy. You’ll be expected to manage your own workload, remove your own blockers, and keep delivery moving without needing constant direction. If you’re the type who thrives on variety, can hold pace and control at the same time, and knows how to bring people with you through ambiguity — this is a good fit.
Some travel is part of the role, including overseas where projects require it.
